When SMS, WhatsApp, RCS and email should share an account, and when they should stay split.
CPaaS puts SMS, WhatsApp, RCS and email on one stack so OTP, alerts and campaigns share reporting. TVL uses that when the same event should try WhatsApp first and fall back to SMS. Four vendors mean four logs when a message fails.
CPaaS OTP usually belongs on SMS because delivery in seconds still beats a template wait. WhatsApp can carry the same code after the user is opted in. TVL will not put a login code only on email. Channel choice follows the SLA, not the campaign calendar.
CPaaS journeys can switch channel when the first send fails or the user prefers another app. TVL maps that in the API, not as four separate campaigns. Preference and delivery status decide the next hop.
CPaaS does not require you to turn on every channel. TVL can start with SMS API and add WhatsApp when templates are approved. You pay for what you send. The point of one stack is that the second channel does not mean a second vendor project.
CPaaS reporting shows accepted, delivered and failed by channel and template. A mailbox only shows sent. TVL uses delivery receipts to catch sender ID and DLT issues before the next campaign. That is the operations view, not a marketing dashboard of opens.
List the channels you use today and we will show what one CPaaS stack would replace.
